- Miss Big Bear Pageant at the PAC (Oct 13th)
- Wolf Awareness Day at Moonridge Animal Park (Oct 20th)

Big Bear Lake is a Southern California Year-Round Resort Community. As a result, home sales in the Big Bear area have not slowed in sales or in value as have some other areas in the surrounding areas of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. With Big Bear being the only resort community in Southern California offering both lake and ski resorts, prices are expected to stay relatively stable.
